Top Alcohol Dragster

Top Fuel might be the "Kings" of the Sport, but the TAD's (Top Alcohol Dragsters) are the"Kings" of Sportsman racing and the 3rd fastest and quickest class in all of dragracing. The professionalism, passion, dedication and love for the sport keeps these teams doing what they are doing. The payouts from the NHRA suck big time, sponsorships are tough to secure do to the lack of TV and respect they get from the NHRA. These guys race for one reason. They love it. Most instead of spending time on holidays at the cabin or out on the lake will be seen working in their shop getting ready for the next event, or actually be at the track. The costs are huge, and the payoff is the success they garner, the camaraderie of all their peers, a Wally if they are lucky, and enough prize money to pay the gas for the long tow home.

If they had the choice would they do it again? Damn right they would! For all the reasons above, is why this is the favourite class of the SpeedZone editor.
