The rivalries are there , not quite to the level of Funny Car, but there are at least eight cars who can win at any time, and a dozen with the potential of winning an event in a 23 race series. Some of the biggest names in the history of the class play huge roles in the class, including Connie Kalitta, Kenny Bernstein and Don Schumacher. The retirement of Don the "Snake" Prudhomme makes the 2009 season highlights that much more memorable and important.
