Feel free to send me comments or requests of cars.

Top Alcohol Funny Car is possibly my favorite class in Drag Racing. I have met many drivers over the years and made many friends. The West Coast is loaded with this class, and ruitinely there are 20 cars for 8 car divisional fields. Canada is repesented very well in TAFC, the company I work for sponsrs a number of the drivers. Here are some of my bests from '2008'.

A late day burnout shot that really highlites the rich blue color of Clint's very competitive floppe
The same pass but this time Clint hammers the throttle on his way to a solid run
Clint Thompson, of Klamath Falls, Oregon on a long, smokey burnout at the May Divisional race in Missionr
John Evanchuk performs a strong burnout at the 2008 NHRA Divisional race at MRP last May
Cal Tebb and John Evanchuck with the laundry out at Edmonton. I really love shooting the top end and am still amazed at how incredibly fast the cars are able to hit that finish line stripe from a standing start 1/4 mile away
A top end shot of John with both parachutes deployed during the IHRA Rocky Mountain Nationals
Oral Surgeon Thomas Carter drives the beautiful "Jawbreaker" funny car. He also competed in all 10 IHRA races in 2008 and finished 4th overall

Tim blows through the picture during qualifying at last years NHRA National event in Seattle. Shot at 1/320th of a second from the grandstands.

Very colorful California car, the Rancho Framing entry of Mark Woznichak makes a wheels up pass at Sonoma. The car says "Color by Woz" so it's not hard to assume Mark painted the car?
A bit of a different angle on this shot of Mike Drake's Barnett Transportation funny car at Sonoma. If you look closely you can see the right rear tire forming a "V" shape down the center
A final picture of the Plumbing Concepts flopper, an across track pan shot during a great burnout by Dennis
It wasn't a banner year for former Champ Mark Thomas. Mark finished 7th in the standings in '08. The car however looked great, especially in the bright sunlight
We have to stand way down past the finish line for safety reasons during the Edmonton National event. I was using my new 70-200mm 2.8 VR lens for these parachute shots. The picture of Terry Munroe and Thomas Carter is a little distorted from the heat waves coming off of the asphalt because they are a long distance from where I was standing. If anyone feels like buying me a 400mm Nikon VR pro lens, I might be able to zoom in a little closer - PLEASE!!
Von Smith in the Jackson Bros. flopper get's great traction and hikes the front end up on this pass in Sonoma. Looks like the car must have had a little mishap previous to this run as the paint was damaged in several places

3 time IHRA Alcohol Funny Car World Champion Rob Atchison with parachutes fully deployed. You won't find a more professional team anywhere in Canada. Rob and his crew have just inked a new three year deal to carry the Ace Manufacturing banner on a second car out of Edmonton. Rob will run a limited NHRA/IHRA schedule with this car in the West including Mission for the first time and a special feature race at the Rocky Mountain Nationals.
Eddy Plaizer runs one of the prettiest Nostalgia floppers anywhere. Here he is on the chutes after a qualifying run at Edmonton
Sean Bellemeur exploded a burst panel during qualifying at MRP. You can see the body piece hanging out in front of the blower
