May 6, 2004 Golf on Wednesday was a real blast. Jamie Clerf was the big winner and everyone else was a winner as well, with prizes for everyone. Thanks to all the sponsors including RFC, Coca Cola, Jets Tools Canada, Bob Meek, BC Hydro, Mopac and TCS Performance Products. We raised a total of $1790.00 for the D.R.A.W. charity from the proceeds of the Tournament and the silent auction. Thanks again to all. There will be a silent auction to coincide with the event, with the auction items to be on display at Mission Raceway in the reception (lawn area on the east side of the tower) area. Power Carts are not included in the price but are available. There are adult and regular refreshments available on course. Sandpiper Golf and Country is ranked in the top three in British Columbia's "Peoples Choice" rating in the Vancouver Province newpapers golf guide in both the 2003 and 2004 polls. This is the "first annual" Charity Golf Tournament to be held in conjunction with the "Lordco BC Nationals" Lucas Oil event, and is sure to be a highlight of this year's event. DRAW is the most important charity in drag racing and sole benefactor (except for all the fun everyone will have in the tournament), and we hope to raise a lot of MONEY for the Division 6 DRAW coffers.
