Left to Right Top to Bottom: Tim McAmis lost in a 1st rounf hole-shot to Mike Ashley. McAmis ran a 6.09 in this loss. Ouch!. Fran Monaghan went bang around the 1000 foot mark. Scotty Cannon in the latest Oakley Paint scheme. TIm Wilkerson, notice how low the flopper is. The down force is huge. Same with Whit Bazemore's car. At the finish line in the Top Fuel final, between Kalitta and Dixon. Cory Mac and Jim Head in the fisrt round. Odd flames out of Head's car..

Bob Gilbertson in the "Tribute to Jungle Jim" nitro coupe. First round of eliminations, photo one notice the flame out of the header as it collapses. photo two and three the sparks from the header as he keeps his foot in it. To make matters worse, the chutes did not open at the end of this run, and he ended up in the sand. Just like Jungle would have, but only 'cause he probably would not have used the chutes just for effect!

These five are pretty well self explanatory. Paul Romine in his second round match up against David Baca. Baca smoked the tires and Romine did not see him so he kept his foot on the loud pedal as the car went up like a roman candle or Jet Dragster. Paul went on to win the round but lost to lose to Doug Kalitta in the semis. Anyone for a barbeque? Great job on the photos Chris!
