TJ Zizzo ran a 1100 ft. 4.93 in his first National event.

Te Greek (4.94) and Rhonda side by side. Rhonda was just starting to bring the wheels up. She Ran a 4.52 best, and solidified herself as the worlds quickest and fastest woman.

Scott Weis (4.76) just missed the 4.74 bump

David Baca (4.508) just missed the 4.40's. So did Dixon (4.507), he r/upped though

Tim Gibson struggled in the Stevens"Thorogood" Dragster. David Grubnic went 4.63

Doug Herbert (4.83) was a shocking non-qualifier. Cha Cha went to the semis and ran two 4.57's.

Joe Hartley ran a #20 4.89 best. Jim Head (4.53/331) was one of 12 TF cars to run a career best

Luigi Novelli made the field with a 4.66/315mph shot. Rit Putsari (4.78) was #18

Paul Romine (4.58) was one of eleven 4.50 or better cars. Darrell Russell only went 4.62

Tony Shumacher (4.464) went under the current record. Scott Kalitta (4.57) was a 1st rd. casualty

Mike Strasberg ran a great 4.62/322 in a very close round one loss to Doug Kalitta. Cory (4.463) was under the record as well.

Rhonda made the second round, hubby John lost in round one.

KB ran in the 4.40's twice on his way to a victory that put him past "Big" in the TF win column (36)
