Chris Vandergriff did not have a great first race. He did a spectacular blowover & then straddled the wall.

Paul ROmine ran career best numbers in qualifying twice, but also had a couple boomers as shown here twice.

Two strong running cars that made the finals instead of the Force or Schumacher cars. Wilk, Gray got his third r/u of '03

David Baca ran the numbers of his car in qualifying. Went two rounds on Sunday. Russell went to his third final.

Kenny ran his best in 03, a 4.51. Made the semis. Scott Kalitta's '03 debut was awesome. Ran 4.50 and went 3 rounds.

Dean Skuza had a big bang in the lights, went to the semis. Tony Schumacher's new lettering really stands out. He flew all weekend, and ran a 4.49 in the final. Alan Johnson has that car haulin. (This picture courtesy David Smith)
