Comp was highlights by the third round match-up of
Vinnie Decelgie in the cool A/A Corvette and World Champ Dean Carter
in the A/ND. Carter has almost been unstoppable since the fall of
2003. He has only failed to reach the final round at one of the last
six events he has entered. Well, make it 2 of 7, as the 63 Corvette
runs down Carter right at the finish line for a .0008 (one-two inch
win). Deceglie turned on the win light in the next two rounds as well
including the final against Brian Self in his Pro Stock Truck. Here
are the eliminations, from the third round on.
